Subject: Shri Bhavani Danta State Rail- way Project from Taranga Hill Station to the Ambaji Mata.

Sir,

With reference to the correspondence ending with your letter No. 204 dated 1st July last, I have the honour to state under orders of Government that Government of India have accorded their sanction to the construction of the Shri Bhavani Danta State Railway project from Taranga Hill Station to Ambaji Mata at an estimated cost of Rs. 28,79,583/-

2. The Danta & Baroda Darbars have been permitted to retain jurisdic- tion over the sections of the projected extension the Mehsana Railway from Taranga Hill Station to Ambaji Mata passing through their respective territories. This in the case of Danta Darbar however, is subject to the con- ditions communicated to the Maharana in this office letter no. 4021 datel 17-7-1908.

3. As the Baroda & Danta Darbars have been allowed to retain jurisdiction over the proposed line, the agent, Bombay Baroda & Central India Railway state that there will be no charge against the line for the Government crime and order police but the watch and ward staff will be provided on the line by the Bombay Baroda and Central India Railway and the actual cost thereof will be debited to the proposed line.
